November Blogging Challenge: Attitude of Gratitude

Nov 16 What is the most powerful aspect of being a connected educator? What are you grateful for?

I think the most powerful aspect of being a connected educator is that you get to be part of a larger group of talented and inspiring educators especially when it comes to being connected through social media like twitter, pinterest and teaching blogs. Sometimes teaching can feel isolating and being connected to other teachers, their ideas, their comments, their messages can be powerful. I’m grateful that there are teachers out their who enjoy sharing and connecting with other teachers. I’m grateful that there seems to be this momentum that has been ignited by social media and teachers are becoming more connected not only with each other but with their own best practices. I’m grateful that I get to read and be inspired by so many amazing teachers and their amazing ideas.
